New Model Army was at the Rock and Roll Hotel this past Friday. They played an excellent set that was a bit subdued. I think the audience was a factor in that as they or we ourselves were a touch on the mellow side. This allowed the band to show their muscianship. My personal favorite was a song that a Middle Eastern or may Indian vibe. Check ’em out if you get a chance.

So this fine movie was the major entertainment of the weekend. Great stuff and filled with all kinds of fine Hitchcockian stuff. As you can see it was made just before WWII and there are subtle and not so subtle comments on the situation as of 1938. Great old stuff.
